Moon Sun (Mia), is a South Korean national who grew up in the Philippines and attended the International School of Manila from the years of 1985-1996. She graduated as one of fifteen students from her batch inducted in to the honor society. She is an alumnus of Purdue University, and graduated as a member of Kappa Omicron Nu (National Honor Society for Human Sciences) with a degree in Management. Mia also has an English education teaching certificate from Korea’s Ewha Women’s University. For the past 13 years, she has dedicated her time to developing critical reading and academic writing skills primarily to the international school students of Seoul (Daechi-dong), most of whom have been accepted to the top universities in Korea, U.S, and England.
Sung Jin Park, is a South Korean national who grew up in the Philippines and attended the International School of Manila from the years 1990-2000. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Connecticut before deciding to go to Korea to fulfill his national conscription duties. After serving his national conscription duties in the South Korean Army, he transferred to the prestigious Sogang University (Ateneo de Manila sister school) in Korea and graduated with a degree in Business Management and English Literature. Sung Jin has been teaching primary/middle/high school students in Seoul for over 12 years both as a private tutor and as the head instructor of Chungdahm Learning Institute Seongdong Branch. His students have gone on to continue their education at top universities in Korea and the U.S.
